esa medical

just had my esa medical today.......fortunately under the old rules as i just claimed in time to get the old esa form.

despite knowing all the ways they ascertain your health, still had the examiner insisting that the distance from where we parked the car was over 50 metres!

there were some parts which were quite funny......i sat down and placed my rather large handbag on the table finding it difficult to see the examiner.......when asked to stand for the physical exam, i stated id rather not stand for the upper limb test so she had me doing the kneck and arm excersises in the chair. both seemed quite ludicrous.

previously i failed my esa medical and then won it on appeal 14 months later, so with this new claim i was determined to ensure that nothing was assumed about my abilities.
i explained that i use a mobility scooter to shop at the supermarket and she then tried to insist i must walk to a local shop for a pint of milk.......if only i could.

well heres hoping, with the extra knowledge that i went in with, i pass the medical without having to appeal
