Support Group Questions was created by autumnlady
I am in the support group (since Dec 2009) for a number of chronic conditions - urinary incontinence, arthritis, fybromalgia and Multiple Epiphseal Dysplasia some conditions have deteriorated since 2009.

I have just recieved a 'Limited Capability for Work' questionaire that says I will need to go for a face to face assesment.

Nothing in my life has 'improved' nor will it, these are chronic conditions for which I was medically discharged from my job as a Civil Servant.

I have two questions

1- I believed that being in the support group that I would not have to attend these face to face assesments. Is that indeed the case?

2. I also believed that by being in the support group I would not have to undergo the hassle of filling out these questionaires again.

Can anyone advise me on this please. Thank you

Being in the support group does not exempt you for being reassessed for eligibility for ESA or for whether you should continue to be in the support group.

If you are in the support group, the interviews that you are exempt from are the work focussed interviews, not medical assessments.
