A friend of mine wants to claim AA, and I'm trying to help him with it. He has prostate cancer for which he is currently having radiotherapy; he also has a dizziness problem caused by narrowing of the arteries in his neck.
Firstly, we'd like to know the best way of using his cancer diagnosis to further a claim for AA, and secondly we'd like to know whether mentioning the fact that he still drives on the days when his dizziness doesn't affect him badly would go against him in any way? Obviously, we want to be truthful, so is there any recommended way of wording any comments about this on his claim form?
Any help gratefully appreciated.

It doesn't matter if he's not dizzy every day. What matters is how he is most of the time and what needs arise from that.

Dizziness is a condition which a driver needs to tell the DVLA about. Information at:
www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/DriverLice...MedicalA-Z/DG_185429
Also your friend should inform his car insurance company about his health problems becuase if he is involved in any accident whilstdriving & makes a claim on his policy it will almost certainly at best be a reduced payout & at worst dismissed on the grounds that he had failed to inform them of a change in his circumstances.

Hello, this is the first time I've used the forum. I've used the search function, but can't find anything related to the info I'm looking for, so here I go with my topic.
