You can complain about the way it was conducted, and I'd strongly recommend you do that BEFORE yuou get a decision
because if you wait until after it can look like 'sour grapes'

Bluebell, he was not only rude and insensitive, he was also unprofessional and stupid.thanks guys. i swear he was a robotman: ( i did manage to have a friend present and my friend confirmed tht he didnt ask how any of my diagnoosis affect me, let alone bringing up any of my mental health probs.
...
i dont know where to contact atossoon and tell them he didnt ask about my night care needs appart from toiletting,or ask about my merntal health and how my physiclillesses affect me. he didnt even ask what a typoical day is.
bluebell:(
You, on the other hand, have been quite clever. You had a witness present. You tried to tell him about your mental health problems when he didn't want to know - which was brave of you under the circumstances.
You have made a note that he didn't ask you about a typical day.
IF your benefit claim is turned down, then you will have a very good chance of getting it overturned at Tribunal. You should be able to get some help with a case for a Tribunal perhaps from the Citizens' Advice Bureau.
I'm not sure whether you should complain about this man to ATOS as XFactor says, but I do think it would be useful to sit down and make a careful list of the things that went wrong. Perhaps you could do this with your friend who will be able to help you sort things out.
Start with how late he was, and how much he rushed things.
Then add that he made no allowance for your mental difficulties when carrying out the interview. He tried to bully you when you had problems remembering long lists.
There are other things as well, so make a clear list.
You may or may not want to use that as a complaint against ATOS, perhaps others might be able to comment.
What I am sure of is that having the list written down clearly will be a help to you. You will realise how well you coped under very difficult circumstances. You will also have that list if you do decide to complain, and it may be useful to someone helping you if you need to go to a Tribunal.
Keep up the good work!
