Higher rate Mobility and middle Care was created by jubblie
After being initially refused any award, despite now being in a wheelchair, I appealled the decision using one of your guides to fill in the appeal form.
Within two weeks, I received a letter informing me that they had reconsidered and I was now entitled to higher mobility and middle care :woohoo:. I am so pleased, now I can get a car in which I can get my wheelchair in and out by myself, giving me a little more independence :cheer:. Thanks for the fab advice :) .

Hi,

Glad to hear of your success and glad you find our guides of help :)

Thank you for returning to let us know the outcome, it does really help members in a similar position to yourself.

I 'm also a wheelchair user and have had a Motability vehicle on lease for over 20 years. Lots of vehicles to choose from now at nil deposit including automatics. See Motability
or telephone Motability Operations for a brochure and more information on 0845 456 4566.

Best wishes.

Jim
