I have just referred to the link in your post, but it matches the information I have given the OP previously in this thread.

Exactly the same thing has happened to me!

I sent the DLA80 back in Dec, have heard nothing yet. I was awarded DLA indefinitely in 2008 after being on it for 5 years. My condition has deteriorated too, and I have been diagnosed with two other chronic illnesses since my last award.

It has made me mistrust everyone as only a few of my friends knew I received DLA.

I'm just hoping that I am one of the 96% of reported cases that are false. Why can't people mind their own business, they don't know how I suffer! Just because I look OK! :(

It makes me so cross that other people judge you on how they perceive you  You make look ok but they dont feel the pain you are in or are dosed up to the eyeballs just to allow you to do something a healthy person takes for granted!!! You are doing nothing wrong just complete your form as you have previously done and i doubt you will hear anything else.

I hate having to complete forms so i can empathise with you!! I don't agree with Jo Bloggs being able to ring into the fraud hotline willy nilly. If a report is mallicious then the person that has reported you should be identified to you. I have had a similar issue regarding council tax, twice now i have had someone come out to my home to have a look round as someone had reported that i had someone living with me and although i knew they were wrong it really invades your privacy. Crazydiamond is right it is probably someone who thinks you are getting something that they don't!!! I don't tell anyone what benefits i receive, then there is nothing for anyone to be jelous over.

Good luck and please let us know how you get on!!

Big hugs
Mm :) xx

Hi,
I had this letter in October. I'm pretty sure it was my neigbour. I've just found out that I have lost my DLA. Hoping to appeal but the stress is terrible so I know what you are going through. It isn't right that anyone can report annonymously without any evidence. xs
