It's been two weeks since I found out that I won my ESA appeal and since then I've been under so much stress thanks to the Department of Work and Pensions!!! They have managed to lose my latest fit note and don't know where the tribunal notes are.So I did what they requested and had a duplicate fit note and a copy of the tribunal letter that I recieved. I thought that would be the end of it until I went to take some money out yesterday and discovered that no money had been paid into my account,so I rang DWP.At first I got a rather unhelpful lady who abruptly told me that I hadn't sent anything in and therefore my money was to stop.I then asked to speak to a manager who then tried to tell me that there was nothing they could do as it was the sorting office that dealt with all the letters ect. After much arguement he agreed to ring my doctor and was able to get a verbal fit note over the phone(with my permission to the doctor first) and reluctantly said the money would be in this morning.I'm still waiting for it!!!!!! And just to put the icing on the cake, there is no record of my duplicate fit note or tribunal letter turning up. Has this happened to anyone else and what's the best course of action to take to stop innocent people being penalised? Very Angry Jennie x
