Gaynor - eligibility for ESA doesn't depend on a specific diagnosis, it depends on whether you can do or not do certain things. There are people with ME/CFS who are in receipt of ESA.

I don't think you're asking the wrong questions. Did I miss something you wanted to know?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

They should, but the WFIs are often outsourced to a bureau and they can be a gung ho, the important thing is to ensure that you accompany your husband to these interviews so you know what is being said.I wanted to know if the work activity group will take into account what problems my husband has when having to go to there meetings pathway interview, he is so brain fogged that he can not even cope with answereing any question at home.
Your husband has to be found fit for work first and even then he is not under any obligation to seek work unless he is receiving JSA.would they expect him to get into work in a short space of time ..
