2nd question:
I work 30 hours a week and i have working tax credit as than self employed cleaner because it's difficult for me to find a job. Can i have an extra in working tax credit.
I dont know what you mean in question 1 but 2 is easy
if self employed they don ask how many hours you work, nor do you need to even make any money at first
BUT you cant just ring tax credits and say I am working for myself... you need to register with your local tax office and get and must have a unique tax reference number
when you have it you call tax credits they will ask it and ask how much you expect to make in first year and pay you based on that
if its low and you make lots you will owe them lots at the end if it high and you make a loss they will pay you.
the other thing that will happen going self employed regardless of what you earn you will need to pay class 4 every quarter unless you agree at the start you will make less than about £4,000 a year
