What will happen to the date you claim AA and not DLA as the retirment age is to be scrapped as from next April ? If they move the age up.... then it will cost them as older people could then claim Mobility and being over 65 a higher chance of both needing it and getting it
My guess - and it is just that - is that the age at which you can continue to claim whatever the PIP equivalent of the mobility component of DLA will rise in line with the age at which a man can claim a pension.
I'd like to bet that in the process of moving from DLA to PIP the government will take away the ability to keep the mobility component after age 65 if you had it before.
