When will my medical take place? was created by Kevin McEntee
I have qualified for Incapacity benefit and DLA for many years, awarded indefinitely, and wonder when I will be re-tested on this new system. Are they doing it in alphabetical order and can I expect to be tested soon in the new year, January or February 2011?
Please advise.

Just read that page, does it mean that someone on IB getting say £109 a week if they fail the esa transfer, when they appeal and till they win (if they do) do they drop the amount they will get ?

When an IB claimant is transferred, the claim for ESA will be treated as new, as such, if you fail the Limited Capability for Work test and appeal the decision, you will receive the ESA Assessment rate until your appeal is heard.
