peripheral aterial disease

i have been attending my doctor for over 18 months he has had me refrerred for mri and result was large bulging disca at l4/5 .. he has also sent me in last month to vascular clinic and they have diagnosed me with serve pad.. and will need a bypass.. i still cannot walk distances and am on tramadol/ co-codamol 500/ lyrica.. amitriplin75mg/ asprin/ and now statins .. i have appealed as i have been refused dla .. has anyone similar problems and got help.. i am still working but have had to cut my hours so money is very tight .. i do not get any help from dhss as i am still in work so no help with rent etc..

I don't know what luck other people have had getting DLA with similar conditions, but enough people get DLA on appeal in general to make it worth sticking with your appeal. Good luck.

is there some connection between back disc and PAD ? in your case....and if so did you make it clear on your dla form ? also in your case is it the calfs that need the by pass

IMO if you did not make clear the connection between both back and PAD then IMO thats why you did not get DLA

if you copied your dla form read through, like most of us there is a good chance everythings down ....

its just making it clear to them lot
