Hi Dave,

It sounds like what you're referring to is the Decision Makers Guide. This is a massive volume of information and can be found here Decision Makers Guide

If this isn't what you're looking for I can only suggest you ring the Benefits Enquiry Line on 0800 882200 and see if they can point you in the right direction.

Good luck.

Jim

will do :)

Been looking through some strange things trying to work something out

One thing thats come up, and people mention is why did they not look at my x rays or scan results its shows say damage disk or bones crumbling.... and proves a case.

well the answer is they wont any more if the report has got lttle info on then thats what they will take, so if and its not uncommon the person reporting does a half backed job the information is lost of couse when you go to hospital and see the consultant he will take the x ary out and view it and tell you lots of infomation he sees half of which will not be in the report.

But the DWP will NOT ask to see them and even if your take them with you to your medical the doc wont want to see and this is because of the new

Ionising Radiation Protection Regulations

:(

see here

www.hse.gov.uk/radiation/ionising/

the dwp says

Medical Service Centres have the jurisdiction to request X-rays, but such
a request should be rare in view of recent legislative change to the
Ionising Radiation Protection Regulations.

Hi,

Surely those regulations as for people using radiation equipment not the X Ray photo's themselves?

There is no way that an X Ray film has any radiation on it as The X-ray camera uses the same film technology as an ordinary camera, but X-ray light sets off the chemical reaction instead of visible light.
