Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

You have to inform the DWP of any change in your sons health, have a look at the "Changes Of Circumstances For People Claiming Disability Living Allowance" document in the members section.

Hi,
Try to get individual advice before doing anything. A change in diagnosis is not in itself a change in circumstances.
If your son's needs have increased there may be reason to ask to have the award to be looked at again.
But even then, if your son is already getting middle rate care for daytime needs, there is no way of getting this increased unless he also now has nightime needs as well.
So, do try to get advice if possible.
Good luck,
Steve
