ESA medical confused by results was created by Ronintaybo
Hi
It's the first time Ihave used this form.
I have just taken the mock medical test for the new ESA.
I scored 111 points.
The e-mail informing me of the score also explained.
"You need to be awarded 15 points or more to pass the limited capability for work test in order to qualify for the work related activity group of ESA.
You have assessed yourself as passing the test"
I am cofused by the wording, does this mean that I am assessed as being fit for work.
Regards Graham

Hi Ronintaybo
Passing the test means that you are unfit for work and should be placed in the LCW group.
I should warn you that the ATOS assessors tend to be much stricter when awarding points, so I wouldn't be confident of scoring 111 points!
I would advise you to do the test again but only tick the boxes where you are confident that you could convince a sceptical doctor that you satisfy the descriptor.
Regards
Derek

ask to have the medical recorded. mine was yesterday and LIMA was not used. it was a full hand written report and the doctor told me what problems i will have with my medical conditions. i have the tape here.
i'm not saying they will do the same with everyone, but with the recording, you can fight your corner if what you told the doctor is not on the report
