Thank You Benifits & Work was created by Storm287
I have just heard today that my DLA renewal has been succseful !!! I have been awarded DLA High rate for both Motabilty and Care again and this time for a indefinately, this is i am sure only because i follwed your advise in completing the forms, it is sad to say but just being that ill and disabled dose not mean you will get awarded it, it is all about how you fill the forms in. Benifits and Work is the only place i know that gives straight forward honest help.

Hi Philip
I was put in the Work Related grop for ESA having been awarded HRM and HRC DLA a month before my assessment. I have a progressive neuromuscular condition which will only worsen, & no medical treatments are available. The assessor did say that a return to work was unlikely in the long term and I will be reviewed Nov 2011.
I get Cont Based ESA so I will probably be thrown off it altogether before my next assessment is due.
I made the mistake of believing the government department I worked for for 25 years would be fair and approach my GP, Neurologist or Genetics consultant for advice. You MUST ensure all your problems are on your ES50
