Hi Rachel

It's not uncommon for benefit advisers to only offer assistance from the GL/24 stage, and refuse to help when you already have an appeal under way.

I don't think you should be too despondent if you provided insufficient information on your ESA50. You have another opportunity to provide more detailed evidence to the tribunal. You can also explain that you had no help with the form and little knowledge of what's required when completing the ESA50.

Good luck

Derek

Hi Derek, thankyou for your reply. Will I be picked up on it by the tribunal though? I'm worried they will think I am lying.

Hi Jules, thankyou for your reply. I basically ticked boxes saying I could do everything on the physical part and ticked two boxes about social situations on the mental health part. It comes across that I have mild depression and anxiety but ommits everything else that's wrong with me. No date for my appeal yet, they told me it wouldnt be before 20th January.
Thanks again for your support,
Rachel
