Had been on IB from Jan.2001.Had medical in July 2009,resulting in 0 points,IB stopped. Went through appeal process with. C.A.B, sent consultants letter,August appeal was disallowed. Do not know where to go from here.
The next step, if you are dissatisfied with the decision, is to apply for a full statement of reasons. Do the CAB not do this for you?
You can ask the CAB to apply for a statement of reasons or apply for one yourself within a month of the date on the decision notice. If the CAB were representing you a copy will automatically be sent to them. You can then consider with your representative if you have grounds to appeal to the Upper Tribunal.
Without knowing anything about your disability, it always sounds odd when somebody who scores enough points to qualify for IB can have them reduced to zero following a medical. It may be worth looking at the tribunals reasoning to see if it can be challenged.
