I have a 16 year old with mental health problems ie Panic attacks anxiety who has been refused college entry because of low attendance record, I have been told that he needs to attend over 80% of the time to be accepted on the course ,If he studied at home for ie learn direct simmiler would I be able to get tax credit for him?

We don't advise on benefits other than disability/incapacity benefits.

I have a copy of last year's CPAG book on benefits, but not the up-to-date edition. However, the edition I have covers the point so assuming that the new edition hasn't changed much, it would be quick and easy for a welfare rights adviser to check the point for you.
