I am lost just got my renewal form is longer than 4 pages so think it is a ful form, is there a new help resource for renewals, or do i just follow the help as if i was claiming for the first time ? have been dreading this coming since the begining of the year.

The 'new' short 4 page form is currently only being used in certain areas.
In effect 'renewal' claims are treated as new claims (other than they are dealt with at Warbreck House Blackpool as opposed to local offices). If you copied your old claim form as a guide it is usually helpful if your needs haven't changed, but the guide to new claims still applies.
