Hi I applied for mobility allowance due to my osteoarthritis in hips and lumbar region and disc problems. I was awarded the higher rate of mobility which was backdates to May until May 2010. I wanted to join the motability scheme as I cant sit in a low seat car for very long which has meant I have been working from home a lot. As the dates needed to be at least a year on application I asked them to reconsider my dates. They have and have chopped off 4 months and it now runs until January. Do I appeal or wait until the renewal forms arrive. My bosses arent going to let me work from home all the time for ever and I have had this for years. Any ideas?
