To all members :

Please note it is not necessary for members to use the 'Report to Moderator'
to edit posts due to spelling mistakes etc.

You can do this yourself, just click on the red 'Edit' button and edit your post, and if you wish complete the 'Reason for Editing' at the bottom of the message. Members can only edit their own posts, moderators can edit all posts, or if necessary delete them if anything in the post breaks B & W's rules which are in Forum FAQ.

However, once you've chosen a 'log in' ( forum name) neither yourself nor moderators can alter this.

For security reasons, we don't recommend you use your full christian name and surname.

If you need to change your 'log in' name, you will have to e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and include your current 'log in' name, and the one you wish to use in future.

Members are only allowed to use one 'log in', name only. Multiple names are not allowed, and could lead to your membership being temporarily suspended

Hope this clarifies the situation.

No problem Derek. We all make mistakes be it moderators or members.

Please don't concern yourself. :)

Kind regards.

Jim

Hi Julie,

No it's fine to edit your own posts if you want to change or correct something.

If you read my original post, neither members nor moderators can change their forum names, you need to e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your current name, and tell them the name you wish to use.

Kind regards.

Jim
