IB/IS open ended

Just spoken to Income Support I was told by a pleasant man my IB/IS claim is open ended what exactly does this mean? I think he said something like until there are changes. I did not quite hear him.Can anyone shed some light on this.

I would say unless your circumstances change in anyway you will continue to receive it.
