Is that right and if so what should I ask for.
I have tried to search on here but am getting nowhere fast, beginning to think I dreamt it! I have got to leave at 10am tomorrow so if anyone can help before then I would be very greatful.

I have got my medical tomorrow for ESA and want to ask for a report which I am sure I have seen on here somewhere but I can't find it anywhere. I believe I have seen that you should ask for one when you leave the building.

The letter you require is entitled "Letter to be handed in by claimant at the end of personal capability medical assessment, requesting a copy of the report" and is available in the incapacity resources section HERE.
It is a word document so you need to amend " personal capability assessment" to read "work capability assessment" and "IB85" to read "ESA85" for ESA purposes.

Do you know if these letters have been tested and what the results were?
Has anybody managed to get a copy of their medical report before leaving the building?
Have they appeared in front of a tribunal and did the tribunal take notice?
Kind regards
Derek

These letters have indeed been tested and as far as I am aware, when such letters have been handed to the EMP, the response has been an emphatic 'no'!
Other members may have experienced different, and may be prepared to share their views on this subject?

Has a tribunal ever taken notice of the EMP's refusal and viewed a medical report of lesser reliability, or is the idea to give you a case to appeal to the UT?
