hi, i was lead to believe that migrating to UC would mean everything would be all in one place and would simplify benefits. Instead of being On ESA & Pip, I am now having to deal with 3 seperate benefits. I receive PIP. UC & have somehow been put on Contributions based ESA, despite being on income related for over 10 years. Also i am receiving much less that when just on ESA & PIP. OVER £90 PER MONTH LESS. dealing with 2 seperate benefits was hard enough but now dealing with 3 is sheer frustration. Neither ESA or UC can provide reasons why and after hours on the phone, i get told to ring the other benefit. Why am i on ESA conts based & what was the point in migrating to UC, when i am still also getting ESA. Sheer incompetence and lies about the system being "simplified" Have any other members had such a hard time.??
