I submitted my managed migration to UC - what happens next?

Hello,

Finally I submitted my managed migration to UC online together with all the proof that was asked, without any technical issues.

- I have accepted the commitment online which was only to agree to do the ‘ to do activities ‘ and report changes of circumstances.

I am surprised and relieved it did not ask me anything more as I think I read somewhere that some people are asked to unfortunately commit to look for work or do work related activites, when they should not do as in the Support Group ESA.

- I was not asked to provide a fit note and I should not have to as in the support group esa.
But online prior to submitting my claim on my account online, at some stage it was written down I will not have to provide fit notes.

- Should I ask now or in the next few days for an alternative payment to be paid every two weeks or should I maybe wait for them to contact me, maybe in the next few days.

- do you think it is a good idea maybe to copy and paste in my journal the paragraphs from the from the letter Help to Claim sent me, which lists:
. My transitional protection amount.
. And the total UC I should be getting with the breakdown of why that is.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Best wishes!

Hi VIA,

You ask - Should I ask now or in the next few days for an alternative payment to be paid every two weeks or should I maybe wait for them to contact me, maybe in the next few days.

- do you think it is a good idea maybe to copy and paste in my journal the paragraphs from the from the letter Help to Claim sent me, which lists:
. My transitional protection amount.
. And the total UC I should be getting with the breakdown of why that is.

It is upto you to make a decision on the timing of the Alternative Payment depending on your needs.
As for sending a UC Journal Message with the calculations from Help to Claim, the problem is you won't have a Work Coach to send it to, as your are in the LCWRA group.
According to Rightsnet the majority of errors that the DWP make regarding Transitional Protection are in the claimant's favour. So I would wait until you have received your first payment before considering a complaint.

Hope this helps.
David
