will closing my uc claim stop the DWP harrassing me to look for work?. will i still get my pip once i close the uc claim?.. I am disabled 57 year old - the dwp turned down my MR rebuttal in 2024 but only told me in jan 2025. To avoid going to a tribunal now to prove i am unfit for work - would it be easier to close my uc claim?.
Yes it is easy to close your UC claim. Your PIP will be unaffected. You don't have to give UC a reason. You could phone and ask the UC agent to close the claim.
