Hi Everyone
Im on irESA after taking the DWP to a Tribunal a few years ago and was awarded irESA back then, this being a court order, would I still get the payments if I don't claim UC?

Hi Giggs
Welcome to the forum.
You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum.
The answer to your question is ...... No
If you do not make a claim by the final deadline date then your legacy benefits will stop.

Hi Gary
Would the legacy benefits stop then even if I have a court order?
Have all tribunal court orders been overriden then by the government?

I thought a court order would stand solid with no movement at all.
All this about legacy benefits ending, is this what the gov and DWP has put out there without making it legal, legal always comes first in my book?
