I recently received a pension lump sum of 2k going back to 1990 which I didnt know I had I notified dwp who requested 3 months bank statements. Since then my husband has received his pip renewal forms which had been extended until 2025 am I overthinking or could it have triggered this. Thanks for reading
Hi Sherlock, I think you are probably overthinking it, and I say that primarily because PIP is independent of any income or savings you may have. Renewal forms do come sometime before the end of the award with the idea of getting the whole review completed before the original award expires. I am sure I have come across them arriving about 9 months ahead of the end of the reward. Story to hear that you have two things to worry about at the same time. Catherine
