Hi Without going into too much detail, I wanted to ask if BDD, Body Dysmorphic Disorder is recognised by the DWP as being grounds for an award for ESA ?. Very quickly, my partner has had problems with social anxiety and been on ESA for many years, but she's never been able to explain what happens to her other than she can't face people a lot of the time, and medication and therapy haven't helped. After doing quite a lot of research for her, it looks very much like the underlying issue is BDD and I was wondering if anyone might know any details of how the DWP would view this. Many thanks
