I've managed to calm down a little now and remembered another strange thing the Assessor said was that he may have to ring again if DWP need more answers and would I give permission for this. Is this common practice? Not sure I could go through all that again to be honest.

Hi Bron,
In 2018 I had a really bad face to face assessment and was awarded zero points. I fought it and won my MR and finished up with (I think) 23 points and had my old award reinstated.
You may be lucky; you can't be sure that the assessor is going to do the dirty on you - but from your post it looks like you got one of the 'baddies'.
If so you really can turn it around and pull the report to pieces - in other words, you can turn it into a positive by 'correcting'the assessor's report bit by bit and pointing out what they failed to ask etc etc.
A good look through the guides will help you no end.
In the meantime, although you possibly may be ok, I would start putting a package together now in case you do have to go to MR.
I wish you all the best,
Kind regards,
Phrank.

Hi another strange question came at the end. He asked for permission to ring me again if DWP want any more information. Is this common practice?

Hi Bron
Yes, it is a common thing for an assessor to ask if is alright for them to phone if they require further information. (Frankly, they will do it with or without your permission if they want to!)

Hi all, I've just received a phone call off Dwp saying that I've been awarded PIP. In my state of shock I forgot to ask anything. He only asked if I had a full time live in carer and that a letter would be in the post next couple of days. This is my first time of applying for PIP and after my assessment I was getting geared up for a MR. It hasn't even been 2 weeks since phone assessment. Still in shock tbh.
