I moved from DLA to pip and the assessment was so stressful, but it took from Dec 27th - interview on 15 th of January and result today on the 14th of Feb, I got lower rate for both living and mobility indefinitely. Your guides and suggestions and advice made the whole traumatic experience better and we're like a holding hand throughout the process.
Well done on your award, are you sure it's states ( indefinitely ) or do you mean On-going? As I thought PIP wasen't indefinite any more like DLA unless things have changed again.
Remember On-going is effectivly 10 years, you should not be reviewed until then if you look down your decision letter it should state a date of 10 years from the decision. I'am also on an On-going award myself, interesting to know the answer to this.

I rang DWP. And they said that these letters are causing upset with others as it's all so confusing, they said they send them out just as a matter of course but that they can see I am in transit! I am really deflated, depressed and upset by this letter as it is bad enough not knowing and waiting for the letter to get this on top of everything. So obviously I don't know anything yet it's horrible.

So sorry for you, I'm afraid the DLA and PIP departments are separate so it is possible that they have not even been informed that you have been invited to claim PIP, these letters have to go out to claimants who are still receiving DLA.

I take it you've made and had or done the Phone call to PIP and recieved the PIP2 and or assessment for PIP, or have you not had neither.
