Our granddaughter with learning disabilities was required to apply for PIP when DLA ended at 16. Thanks to your brilliant guides, this was successful. After all the horror stories about ftf assessments, I would like to record how professional ours was. Our granddaughter has a tendency to exaggerate what she is actually capable of. By detailed questioning, the assessor was able to discover just how her disabilities affected her. Maybe we were lucky, but just to let you all know there are some good assessors out there! David
