First of all many congratulations on getting the Decision revised, well done.

It normally takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result. I would ring them later in the week to confirm that they have received the Decision Notice.

Your ESA may be affected positively, but it will depend on your circumstances.

First you need to be receiving Income Related ESA in whole or in part as the ESA Premiums are only payable with ESA(IR).

Having a Standard DL award means that you are eligible for the Severe Disability Premium if you live alone or are classed as living alone and no one receives Carers Allowance against your PIP.

Once your PIP goes into payment contact the DWP office dealing with your ESA about the SDP.

Thank you so much Gordan for your quick reply. I live with my husband but he doesnt work as he cares for me but he does not get any carers allowance or benefits. Would i still be eligible for the esa disability premium and what else am i entitled too.

Unless your husband also receives a qualifying benefit (DLA MRC or HRC, PIP DL or AA), then you are not living alone and won't qualify for the SDP.

To see if you would qualify for anything else, try putting your information into one of the online benefit calculators/
