Support group! was created by Scribbles163
Hi,
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who makes the guides on here.
I just got my brown envelope this morning, less than a month after my medical giving me support group for esa! (Pip took 18 months so this was amazing!)
To say I'm relieved would be an understatement!
Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

That's great news Scribbles and what a lovely reason for your first post here Thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W.
If you wish to find out when to expect reassessment you can phone DWP and ask. You can also ask for a copy of the assessor's report as this can often be helpful with future claims - it will be an ESA85 if you had a face2face assessment and ESA85a if you did not.

Great thanks, I plan to call up next week and ask for copies as well as asking about SDP.
SDP seems to be a very confusing topic where joint tenancies are concerned - I was told I was ineligible before but I am beginning to think that information was incorrect!
Do you know if anyone could advise on that topic here?
Thanks!

Providing you have separate rennet books and you don't share living space, shared kitchen and bathroom are OK then you should not be classed as living with anyone.

Okay thanks, I think maybe our tenancy contract might end up being an issue as they wouldn't give us separate ones. Guess I'll still apply and see where it goes
Thanks!
