Pip renewable was created by dennygilly
I was reassessed for pip on 20th October. Last december I was awarded standard care and enhanced mobility at Tribunal. I recieved decision today standard care and standard mobility thea award is for five years which is a relief. I have requested assessment as unsure whether to ask for MR re mobility as I need the blue badge rather than increased payment.
I would like to say thanks again to this guide. The process this time was much less stressfull.
Thanks again.

A restrained congratulations on the award
If your previous award was primarily based on the Going Out activity then the guidance for this has been updated since you were last assessed, have a look at the PIP Claim guide for more details.

8 points for "Moving around" in PIP gives automatic entitlement to blue badge, I believe. And one doesn't have to be receiving any DLA/PIP to get a blue badge.

please do check with gordon ,but ime sure i read somewhere that even if you get standard mobility you can still be entitled to a blue badge as long as you recieve 8 points ,think it applys for the going out and following a journey descriptor,.
