PIP Payments

Hi you wonderful people.
I've just received the results of my recent PIP assessment and have been awarded Standard rate in the Daily Living Component and enhanced rate for the mobility component. This was all due to your fantastic guides. Without them I don't think I would have received anything. My car is my lifeline to the outside world as we are a little isolated around here.

I have never had two awards before and this question is going to sound really stupid but are the payments paid separately i e the motability payment goes direct to them for my car and the daily living component will be paid into my bank?

I feel really stupid for asking such a naff question but just need to clarify this in my head. I am also currently in receipts of ESA (support group)

Yes, your PIP Mobility Payments will be paid direct to Motability, and the PIP Daily Living Component payment will be paid into a Bank Account of your choosing.
