Have been through one medical assessment face to face in 2013, after filling in the ESA50 using the B&W guide. I was awarded ESA for 18 months. Time up was this month. I filled in the recently received ESA50 again using the B&W guide, to the letter. 2 weeks and 2 days later (today) i received word by post that I'd been placed in the Support Group from the WRAG. And that was with no face to face assessment. And my award was also raised by a few pounds a week. It doesn't however say how long my award is for. (anyone any ideas on the reason for this?) I 'm still stunned and i've said (to myself) at least a hundred times today....I can't believe it!!!! Benefits and Work....you rock. Thank you, thank you, thank you. There's absolutely NO WAY I would have filled in the ESA50 correctly without your guide. I Will renew my subscription to B&W until the year dot. Whether i need it or not!
A million thanks.

Congratulations on being moved to the Support Group and thank you for your comments about B&W.
ESA is an indefinite award with regular re-assessment which is why the Decision Letters do not tell the claimant how long the award is for. You can find out your current re-assessment date by phoning the DWP office that deals with your claim, it is recorded on the ESA computer system and the call centre operatives can tell you the date.
