PIP CLAIM was created by Sylvester
Hi, I took onboard all the advice that this site has to offer me. I sent off my claim for PIP on the 8th Jan 2015, had a letter within 2 weeks informing me that there was an Assessor coming out to see me on 12 Feb, however they didnt show up. So when I phoned to enquire, I was given another appointment 17th Feb. The assessor showed up an hour and a half earlier after first checking with me. She was a lovely lady, an orthopaedic nurse from Ysbyty Bangor. Just over 3 weeks later I received my PIP award, I had been awarded enhanced care and enhanced mobility for an indefinite period. I am so happy that I will never have to go through this ever again, and its all thanks to the invaluable advice that I have received on this site. I have been a member of this site for almost 4 years now, the best money I have ever spent. Thank you so much... :) :silly:  keep up the good work...and Good Luck to everyone who is going through the process of claiming PIP. Send as much information as you can, I even typed up a diary and a personal medical report of my own., along with various doctors reports and letters. Many thanks Sandra.

Hi,

Brilliant News !!! :cheer:

Thanks for taking the time to let us all know in what appears to be your first post on the forum !! :)

It seems that you have received Enhanced "Ongoing Awards" for "both".

These awards are only given in a minority of cases where you are unlikely to get either better or worse.

As with DLA Indefinite Awards, you may still be reviewed at some time in the future.
However, it is unlikely that it will be in the near future.

Thank you very much for your comments regarding B&W, they are appreciated by all ! :)

If your forum name is also your real name, you may wish to change it to maintain some anonymity.

This can be done quite easily by following the instructions on this FAQ :

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

That's great news! Thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W :)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
