The process of applying for ESA,DLA etc is a mammoth task and hugely stressful when you are chronically ill and diasabled. The detailed, clear guidlines have been invaluable to me in applying both for DLA and Esa and have given me the confidence to put in my claim knowing I had given the best possible evidence to support my claims.
I have just been migrated from ICB to Esa support group ,without having to face a medical.I can't tell you how happy I am not to have been called for a medical,as past experiences have been hugely stressful and caused relapse in my M.E. Next challenge will be the DLa- PIP process!
As you advised I collected as much medical info beforehand and sent in a huge envelope.I used the guides to make sure I gave evidence clearly and concisely. It has taken dwp/atos 10 weeks to decide( probably with the vast bundle of medical evidence I provided! but I am over the moon to know that my benefit will continue.

Thank you so very much Benefits and Work ,both for fabulous guides and to the forum volunteers who give so much time and knowledge to help us through the benefit maze.

Congratulations on your success,
I am about to start the whole esa form process, and suffer severely with m.e. and fibro, and many other conditions. Can I ask you, other than the b & w guides, what you felt helped you as well.
Im struggling massively and feel constantly jumbled and ramble in my words, and am finding it very hard to put words into paragraphs that makes any sense.
Any advice would be great.

I to got into support group without medical.I suffer from cfs/me fibro severe depression and anxiety.I am to be checked again in 2 years. Thanks to everyone on this site as you would not get through this torture. Add extra pages to esa form and tell them that if you can do something once you could not repeat it.Keep saying this to each question.Tell them all the side effects of mediction.Dont give up hope and take your time filling in form.If you can have someone who knows you well fill in form and sign it i think this also helps.Again good luck to everyone going through this.
Well done on gaining entry to the SG MH !!
Thank you for your complimentry comments regarding B&W, and for the encouragment that you have provided to other members.
