Success.....Support Group (had medical assessment) A huge thankyou for all your guidance and support. Award has only been given for 3 years but I am overjoyed that at last I can concentrate on my well-being and not on form filling and awaiting the brown envelope!! Thanks again for your expert advice. Xxxx

Congratulations for being allocated to the ESA support group and for letting us know about the good news together with your kind comments about B & W.
It appears that three years is the maximum time between assessments for a claimant to be placed in the SG, but at least you can relax in the meantime!

Should I request a copy of my medical for future reference, also will I have to reapply in 3 years or am I contacted by the DWP for another medical?

At sometime in the future, hopefully the full three years, you'll be re-assessed and sent a new ESA50 to complete, you don't need to take any action until this happens.
Congratulations

Yes, you can request your medical report, ask for the ESA85 if you had a medical or the ESA85A if you did not.Should I request a copy of my medical for future reference, also will I have to reapply in 3 years or am I contacted by the DWP for another medical?
