MS. IB -> WRAG -> SUPPORT = SUCCESS!!

I posted a thread recently about having MS and being put in the WRAG group.

I sent in the form for appealing but in the meantime I had my first work-focussed meeting at the JobCentre.

The advisor was very helpful, she gave me the number of the DWP office that was dealing with my claim so I called the decision maker and he said I should also send in a "reconsideration letter" (i.e. just an ordinary letter explaining why I think they should reconsider).

Anyway, this morning a very thin brown envelope arrive, and joy of joys they have put me in the support group!!!!!!!

However, in the meantime I had made an appointment to see my MP at his surgery next week, and I still intend to go and meet him as I want to make my point for all the other people with MS (as well as everyone else of course!) whose disability does not neatly fall into the WCA descriptors.
