Can I just say a massive thank you to all on here for the information and support I have taken from you during the past 6 months.

I completed my DLA renewal in March this year and I am still awaiting a decision BUT I completed my ESA form using the guidelines on here and got put in the WRAG group even without a medical.

So following advice on here I appealed and have heard today I am in the support group.

I am so grateful not only for the information you provide but also the support you give out over the forums which has made me feel that even in depths of despair there ARE people who care and most importantly other people in exactly the same boat as myself.

Its very lonely sometimes having a disability and this forum has helped me through a very,very difficult and somewhat traumatic and stressful time in my life.

thanks to all. :)

Well done hilly, on being placed in to the support group, on appealing.

cheers

thanks everyone.

@lester
I only submitted the appeal booklet about 2 weeks ago and stated the reasons why I thought I met the support criteria.
I didnt send any additional evidence but copied and pasted stuff from my form I had sent it.

Blimey, 6 months. A friend of mine got their DLA renewal 3 months before the end date, they only sent it off last week.

I might warn them it could take a while :blink:
