D.L.A award was created by lottie100
I am an old member returning it was with the help of everyone at Benifits & Work that I was awarded LRC.
I have had to re-apply twice since my first application.

On my third application I have been awarded HRM & MRC for an indefinate period
which I am realy thankful for.

My conditions have got progressivly worse
So I sent in my peak flow results, plus an up date to my day to day living and how it affects me. I think to say I was shocked is an understatement as I had no medical or tribunal to deal with. I know this is due to the advice and information avaliable on this site.I would recommend this site to everyone looking for guide lines, other members experiences make everyone feel they are not alone.

My only concern is from a member on page 231 this member was given HRM & HRC then 4 weeks later they stopped it, is this a common occurance and has any one else had experiance of this?

Once agin thank you to all modarators, members and B&W

First of all, congratulations on the successful outcome of your DLA claim and the subsequent award.

Although I know of two instances where an award was made and subsequently was amended/withdrawn as reported in this forum, this in my view would be uncommon. What may have happened in the cases to which I refer, was that the files were selected for a random decision-making check by a higher decision-making authority (possibly at the ADA headquarters in Leeds), and the DLA Unit were asked to reconsider their decisions.

I would never say that the DLA Unit would not change their decision in your case, but I believe the chances would be minimal.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Lulu

Thank you, like yourself and 1,000 of others think that B&W,Steve and all the moderators deserve medals.100% customer service even though they suffer there own health issues.

I re-joined because I love the forum and it is good to see others all with some form of disability or health problems helping each other.

They congratulate on sucess and support and give encouragement through failiures.

If it had not been for all of the above I would have fallen at the first fence and not persued my claim it overwhelmed me totally, but B&W encouraged me to carry on which I did. Dont give up!!

Thank you for your Good Luck and would pass the same to you and others out there.

Perserver even when thing are tough and stressful there will always be some-one on line to calm you and point you in the right direction.

Regads
