New DLA Award was created by carole2
Feel great have just heard that my husband has been awarded DLA. Mobility at High Rate and Care at middle rate.

In these days of knocking people off feel that this was a great achievement.

I did follow some advice on filling in the forms from this sight.

Good luck to averyone else out there still waiting for a decision.

Oh by the way I was told could take up to 12 weeks.

Only took 4.

Hi Sylvia

Mike has a genetic fault which causes liver and lung disease. He is now awaiting an assessment to see if he is eligable for liver transplant.

As a side effect of liver damage he has some cognitive problems which are also under investigation.; He also has bad Osteoarthritis and many other side affects of the liver damage.
