ESA decision just received was created by cmt
I would just like to let everyone at B&W know that I have just received the decision from my transfer from ib to esa and that I have been placed in the support group for the next 3 years. the decision took 13 very stressful weeks , I would like to thank everyone involved with benefit and works and all the moderators for their hard work and help with questions and queries

Hi cmt,
I am so glad that you have now learned what the DWP have decided regarding your ESA! Thanksfor letting us know and for your kind words about B+W
If you would like to know which descriptor(s) you were deemed to meet, you can contact DWP and ask for a copy of the ESA85 (if you had a face2face assessment) or ESA85a (if there was no face2face), or you can write and ask for a copy of all the paperwork associated with this claim. This is called a 'Subject Access Request'

You will probably have to specifically ask for a copy of the ESA85/85a as the call-centre worker is unlikely to be able to tell you which descriptors you met.
