Awarded ESA with no ATOS medical

Received letter this morning from DWP stating that I had been awarded contribution based ESA and I am in the Support Group. No medical! I have been on IB since 2005 because of mobility problems so was dreading this form arriving and having to attend a medical. You can imagine how relieved I was that all had gone in my favour.

I have to thank you guys for this site as it gave me so much information and helped guide me through the form.

I checked my letter again and there does not seem to be any time limit placed on how long the ESA has been awarded for. Is that good or bad?

Hi gh21,

The prognosis is not included in the Decision Notice letter.

You will have to contact the DWP and request the prognosis of the award.
