From wrag to support group on appeal. was created by keithw
I was on IB from 1998, had esa 50 last year, placed in WRAG in September, appealed in October.
Attended appeal last week, no decision at the time, but told by letter appeal was upheld! I have now been placed in the Support Group. The appeal decision letter states that they recommend that I am not re-assessed for at least two years, and as I reach retirement in June 2015 I assume this means I shall not have to go through this awful process again.
I would like to thank this site and everyone involved in it for the help and support that it gave me.

Congratulations on winning your appeal, as you say, hopefully you will not be assessed again before you retire.

That is great news Keith, thanks for letting us know
You probably know that the DWP do not have to comply with the tribunal's recommendation regarding reassessment. However, with retirement so close, I think it is reasonable to hope that you will not have to go through the process again.
