Hello members
I had a brown envelope arrive today and I have been awarded DLA. My question is when does the DLA payment start is it from the date on the form where you sign or the date on the top of the form front page or is it up to the DWP to decide ?
The B&W guides and the advice on how to answer certain questions were invaluable.

Congratulations on the award
As I understand it, it will be the date on front page, providing you returned the form within six weeks, failing that it will be the date of the Decision.

As I understand it, it will be the date on front page, providing you returned the form within six weeks, failing that it will be the date of the Decision.
