I can't thank B&W enough - so relieved I can't express. Today I had confirmation that my claim for ESA was successful and put straight into Support Group, no medical, no review dates and no appeals needed. I followed your guides religiously in every little detail so big grateful hug goes to you guys. Soon I will be going through the DLA to PIP process too and will be using your guides for that one as well.

Hi PK,

That is really good news !!! :woohoo:

Thank you for your kind comments regarding our site.

There will be a review date, this is known as the prognosis.

See : How often will I be reviewed

The maximum prognosis that we are aware of is 3 years before reassessment.

If you ring the number on your ESA SG Award Notice letter, they may have the prognosis on-screen.

If you want written notification of this, you should request this in writing.
You could ask the particular question of how long the prognosis is, and it may be recorded on the ESA85A Medical Report, and/or The LT54.

See :

ESA medical – what forms to ask for?

Hopefully, you have been given a long prognosis, and can therefore enjoy a long period of peace before being reassessed.
